RIRS Marks Customer Service Week With Cultural Day and Staff Appreciation
The Rivers State Internal Revenue Service marked 2026 Customer Service Week from October 5 to 9 under the theme, “Extra Mile.” The programme included Cultural Day, Old School Day, staff appreciation and customer-focused activities. The events brought employees together to celebrate cultural diversity, teamwork and professionalism. They also highlighted the agency’s commitment to courtesy, responsiveness and better service for taxpayers. RIRS said the celebration reinforced the importance of staff motivation and collaboration in improving public revenue administration and strengthening relationships with taxpayers.
