Kano Agency Seizes 419 Cartons of Expired Agrochemicals, Seals Warehouse
The Kano Consumer Protection Council has confiscated 419 cartons of expired agricultural chemicals from a warehouse on Club Road in Kano metropolis. The raid followed intelligence that the products had been stockpiled, allegedly for alteration and possible reintroduction into the market. Officials sealed the premises while investigations continue. The council said it will take appropriate legal action and urged residents, traders and companies to report suspected expired, adulterated or unsafe products.
