Six Nigerian Students Win $2.29m in South Korean Research Grants
Six Nigerian students have secured research grants worth a combined $2.29 million from South Korea’s National Research Foundation. They were honoured by Nigeria’s Ambassador to South Korea, Prof. Nora Ladi Daduut, during Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary celebration in Seoul. The students received letters of commendation for their research achievements. The event brought together Nigerian students, families and other members of the diaspora community. Speakers said the grants highlight the academic contributions of Nigerians studying in South Korea and encouraged the community to continue representing Nigeria positively.
