Alex Iwobi marked Nigeria’s 2-1 comeback win over Madagascar in their AFCON 2027 qualifier with a short message celebrating a strong start to the campaign. The Fulham midfielder was named Man of the Match after helping the Super Eagles recover from an early setback in Uyo. Iwobi assisted George Ilenikhena’s equaliser before Moses Usor scored the winner. He created four chances, completed 89% of his passes and made nine ball recoveries in an influential midfield performance. The Super Eagles will now prepare for their next qualifying match away to Guinea-Bissau.
