Kelechi Iheanacho says his commitment to the Super Eagles remains strong after returning to the squad following more than a year away. The forward, who has represented Nigeria from youth level, says he is always ready to play whenever called up. Iheanacho is in line to feature as the Super Eagles prepare to face Russia in an international friendly on Tuesday. He said representing Nigeria remains a source of pride for him. The 30-year-old also defended his move to Turkish second-division side Bursaspor after his loan spell at Celtic. He described the league as competitive and said he is enjoying his football there. His form has been impressive, with 11 goals and two assists in eight matches. The run of goals helped earn him a recall from Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle.
