Gunmen Kill Driver, Kidnap Passengers on Ore–Benin Expressway

Suspected gunmen ambushed a GUO Transport bus on the Ore–Benin Expressway, shooting the driver dead at the scene and forcing several passengers into nearby bushes. Eyewitness videos circulating on social media suggest the attackers abducted a number of travellers before fleeing. Security agencies have yet to release an official statement on the incident. This stretch of highway is notorious for armed assaults and kidnappings, and many road users are now calling for an increased security presence to protect commuters along the route.
