Adamawa Police Arrest Man Over Alleged Hotel Killing in Girei

Adamawa State Police Command has arrested a 27-year-old man, Ali Haruna, over the alleged killing of a woman at a hotel in Girei Local Government Area. Haruna, who is from Maiduguri in Borno State and lives in Fufore LGA, allegedly told reporters that he met the victim at the hotel before the incident. He reportedly confessed to killing her and made disturbing claims about what happened afterwards. Police spokesperson SP Suleiman Nguroje confirmed that the suspect is in custody. He said investigations are ongoing and that Haruna will be charged to court when they are concluded.
