Ward 3 defeated Ward 1 by a lone goal to win the second Patience Umo Eno Memorial Football Tournament in Esit Eket, Akwa Ibom State. Wisdom Wilson, the tournament’s top scorer, scored the decisive first-half goal in the final at Afaha Ekpenedi. Ward 1 pushed for an equaliser after the break, but Ward 3 held firm to secure the title. Ward 3 received the trophy and ₦1 million prize money. Ward 1 earned ₦700,000, while Ward 10 received ₦500,000 for finishing third. Organisers said the tournament honours the memory of Pastor Patience Umo Eno while providing a platform to identify talented players for future competitions.
