At least two people were killed and over a dozen injured after a light aircraft struck a hangar at Parafield Airport in Adelaide on Wednesday. The Diamond DA41 Twin Star crashed into the building around 2:10pm local time, triggering a blaze that sent plumes of smoke across the airfield. First responders pulled eleven workers from the hangar, all of whom suffered serious burns and were rushed to hospital. The pilot and a passenger died at the scene. Student pilots inside the hangar were also rescued. Authorities have urged nearby residents to stay indoors and seek medical help if they experience breathing difficulties.
