Wike: Atiku and Peter Obi Will Come After Me If Tinubu Loses in 2027

FCT Minister Nyesom Wike says he expects to be a major target of the opposition if President Bola Tinubu loses the 2027 election to Atiku Abubakar or Peter Obi. Speaking during a media chat in Port Harcourt, Wike said his public commitment to Tinubu’s re-election has made him a marked man politically. He said he has no regrets about openly backing the President. Wike said he thinks about Tinubu’s re-election constantly and remains focused on securing victory, despite criticism and name-calling from opponents.
