My In-Laws Accused Me of Witchcraft After My Husband Died
My husband died of lung cancer two weeks after I gave birth to our son. While I was grieving and struggling with postpartum depression, his family accused me of using witchcraft to kill him and claimed my baby was not his child. They repeatedly came into our home, pressured me to confess to things I never did and tried to take control of my husband’s property. When I travelled briefly to stay with my aunt, they cleared out our house, taking almost everything we owned. I eventually moved back in with my parents and later relocated to the UK with my son for a fresh start. Years later, my in-laws still try to contact and harass my family, but I am determined to protect my peace and focus on raising my child.
