Police Launch Manhunt for Anambra Teacher After Student’s Fatal Flogging
Anambra State Police have begun a manhunt for a teacher accused of flogging a 12-year-old student to death at a school in Adazi-Ani, Anaocha LGA. Police received the report on July 16. Operatives from Neni Division rushed the injured pupil to a hospital, where a doctor confirmed he had died while receiving treatment. The child’s body is now at the morgue pending autopsy. Spokesperson SP Tochukwu Ikenga said photographs show visible marks of violence on the boy’s body. Investigators are following all leads to ensure those responsible face justice.
