Plateau Govt Warns Farmers Against Fake Intervention Message
The Plateau State Government has disowned a viral message asking farmers to submit their personal details through a private phone number to access government support. The Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development said genuine farmer registration and input distribution are handled only through official agricultural departments, extension agents and ministry offices. Farmers have been advised not to share their personal information, bank details or BVN with unknown persons. They should confirm agricultural intervention updates through recognised government channels.
