Benue Governor Alia Swears In Seven Commissioners, Inaugurates BTV Board
Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia has sworn in seven new commissioners into the State Executive Council and inaugurated members of the Benue State Television Board and the State House of Assembly Commission in Makurdi. The governor urged the appointees to put public interest first and deliver measurable improvements in their ministries. He said they must work as one administration to address the state’s connected challenges, including limited resources and competing public demands. Alia asked the commissioners to engage communities directly and use technology, data and modern management methods to improve service delivery. Speaking for the appointees, Nicholas Eworo pledged that the commissioners would work together to support the administration’s development agenda.
