Deyemi Okanlawon Says He’d Quit Acting to Be a House Husband if His Wife Earns Millions
Nollywood star Deyemi Okanlawon has shared his view on family roles and financial partnership in marriage. On the Tea With Tay podcast, the father of three explained that if his wife’s business ever brought in seven figures in dollars, he’d step away from acting. He imagines cooking, taking the children to school and managing the home, even though he jokes he “doesn’t know how to cook.” He noted that many men struggle when their partners earn more, leading to insecurity over small things. “If there is money, I don’t mind being a house husband,” he said, adding that everyone should feel valuable to their family, regardless of gender.
