Kamo State Says Funke Akindele Missed ‘Star Lomo’ Premiere Because She Was Abroad

Actor and skit maker Kamo State has dismissed speculation of a rift with Funke Akindele after she did not attend the premiere of his debut cinema film, ‘Star Lomo’. He said Akindele was outside Nigeria at the time of the event and that they remain on good terms. According to him, they have discussed the matter and she intends to support the film. Kamo State asked the public not to speculate about their personal relationship, urging attention to remain on the new film. Their association became more visible during the production and promotion of ‘Everybody Loves Jenifa’ in 2024.
