Bruno Fernandes Says He Voted for an Arsenal Player for PFA Award
Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has revealed that he voted for an Arsenal player in the PFA Men’s Player of the Year race. Fernandes won the 2025–26 award after recording a Premier League record of 21 assists for Manchester United under Michael Carrick. PFA rules prevent players from voting for themselves. He praised Arsenal’s title-winning campaign and their run to the Champions League final, describing them as a strong and difficult side to face. Fernandes did not disclose which Arsenal player received his vote. Manchester United, however, began the new season with a 2–0 defeat to newly promoted Hull City.
