A Prayer to Follow the Example of Jesus

Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Jesus as the perfect example of a life lived in spirit and truth. Help me to follow His servant-hearted example and to seek Your will in every situation. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, teach me to wait patiently on You and rest quietly in Your plans. Empty me of self and fill me with Your presence. May my life be led by Your Spirit, marked by grace, and committed to doing Your will. Give me the strength to wait on You with faith, knowing that all power, wisdom and strength belong to You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
