NFF Set to Name New Super Falcons Coach Ahead of Comoros Olympic Qualifiers
The Nigeria Football Federation is expected to announce a new Super Falcons head coach in Abuja as the team prepares for the 2028 Olympic Games qualifiers against Comoros. The appointment follows the dismissal of Justine Madugu after Nigeria's disappointing 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations campaign, which ended the Super Falcons’ hopes of reaching the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup. Nigeria will face Comoros in two qualifying matches at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne-Remo, Ogun State. The first leg is scheduled for October 9, while the second leg will be played on October 13.
