Christ’s Victory Over the Powers of Darkness

Jesus taught that a strong man must first be bound before his house can be plundered. Through His ministry, death and resurrection, Christ defeated the power of darkness and brought freedom to those who believe in Him. We do not need to live in fear of Satan or his works. Christ has given believers authority over every force of darkness. His victory is complete, and we can live with confidence in His triumph. Prayer: In Christ, I have victory over Satan and the forces of darkness. I walk in the authority, power and liberty of the resurrected Christ. I am established in His victory. Amen.
