Nwabali Focused on Chippa United, Not Super Eagles Goalkeeping Battle
Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali says he is not preoccupied with reclaiming the national team’s number-one spot after returning to Chippa United. Maduka Okoye and Arthur Okonkwo featured for Nigeria during Nwabali’s absence. However, the goalkeeper says his immediate priority is helping Chippa United earn points and achieve their targets this season. The Super Eagles are due to return to action in September for a 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Madagascar.
