Gift Orban Wins Turkish Süper Lig Goal of the Month Award

Nigerian forward Gift Orban has won the Turkish Süper Lig Goal of the Month award for September after his long-range strike helped Amedspor beat Beşiktaş 3-2 at home. The 24-year-old scored in the 13th minute, firing a powerful effort to give Amedspor an early lead. Orban joined Amedspor on a season-long loan from Hoffenheim in July. He has scored seven goals and provided two assists in six league matches, leaving him level at the top of the league's scoring chart. Amedspor are top of the table and will face Gençlerbirliği away on October 10.
