Why Trusting God Is Your True Security

True security isn’t found in human wisdom, personal strength, or favourable circumstances. It comes when we trust God completely and follow His Word. In doing so, we position ourselves on the path of safety, preservation, and fulfilment. Scripture reminds us: “Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV) Obedience may sometimes seem difficult or counterintuitive, but God’s instructions protect us from destructive choices and the deceptions of worldly wisdom. Question for Reflection: Am I truly trusting God’s Word today? Prayer: Father, help me to rely fully on Your wisdom and obey Your guidance even when I don’t understand. Strengthen my faith and lead my steps according to Your perfect will. Amen.
