Davido’s Sister Sharon Says She Has Stopped Buying Overpriced Outfits

Sharon Ademefun, Davido’s sister, says she no longer believes in spending excessively on clothing, especially wedding guest dresses with prices she considers difficult to justify. She said some fashion items may be worth their cost, but she is no longer willing to pay inflated prices simply because an outfit is from a particular designer. Sharon recalled that her husband paid $2,000 for her wedding dress, while she paid for dresses for her 13 bridesmaids and several hostesses. She said her total spending on the outfits was less than $10,000 and added that, as she approaches 40, she has decided not to work directly with Nigerian designers for her personal outfits.
