Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Reflects on His Mother’s Death: “I Didn’t Lose My Mum”

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has spoken about the death of his mother, Deaconess Angel Oyakhilome, describing her passing as a transition in line with his Christian faith. Speaking during the Global Day of Prayer programme, he said he and his siblings had spent time with her in the weeks before her death. He recalled thanking her for the discipline, faith and upbringing she gave him and his siblings. The LoveWorld founder said he does not see her death as a loss, saying believers who die are present with the Lord. He added that funeral arrangements would be announced later.
