Okpebholo Swears In 18 Edo LG Chairmen, Charges Them to Deliver Development
Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo has sworn in 18 newly elected local government chairmen, urging them to deliver visible development in their communities. The governor described public office as a sacred trust and told the council leaders to prioritise residents, uphold integrity and reject corruption. He also asked them to make the impact of government felt at the grassroots. Speaking for the chairmen, Oredo LGA Chairman Gabriel Iduseri pledged transparent, people-oriented leadership and said the councils would support the state government’s development agenda.
