Usain Bolt Registers for English Veterans Team Wythenshawe FC
Eight-time Olympic champion Usain Bolt has registered to play for Wythenshawe FC Veterans, an over-35s side competing in Greater Manchester's Cheshire Veterans League. The team is managed by former Manchester City midfielder Stephen Ireland and has featured several ex-Premier League players, including Joleon Lescott, Nedum Onuoha, Antonio Valencia, Marc Albrighton, Emile Heskey and Papiss Cissé. Bolt, a longtime Manchester United supporter, previously trained with Australia’s Central Coast Mariners after retiring from athletics. His registration has been listed on the FA system, although his debut date has not been confirmed.
