Today, I joined the congregation at Holy Cross Cathedral, Lagos Island to honour His Eminence Cardinal Anthony Okogie. We gathered to celebrate his 90th birthday, 60th priestly anniversary and 55th episcopal anniversary. His life of faith and service continues to inspire generations across Lagos and beyond. The Mass brought together 47 archbishops and bishops, the Papal Nuncio and a host of political and community leaders, including the Governor of Lagos State, the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Peter Obi and Rotimi Amaechi. It was a privilege to join family, friends and well-wishers in celebrating his remarkable legacy.
