Tinubu Urges Newly Commissioned Officers to Defend Nigeria With Integrity

President Bola Tinubu has urged newly commissioned officers of the Nigerian Armed Forces to build their careers on discipline, constitutional responsibility and selfless service. Represented by House of Representatives Speaker Tajudeen Abbas at the Nigerian Defence Academy’s Combined Passing Out Parade in Kaduna, Tinubu said the officers must protect Nigerians, defend the Constitution and uphold the Armed Forces’ professional standards. The ceremony commissioned cadets from the NDA’s 73 Regular Course, Army Short Service Course 49, Air Force Direct Short Service Course 34 and Air Force Branch Commission Course 3. Tinubu also praised the Academy’s focus on counter-terrorism, technological innovation and other emerging security challenges.
