I have been talking to a lady for some time. She replies my messages quickly, views and likes most of my status updates, and often checks on me first. I took those signs to mean she was interested in me. Two days ago, I asked if she could come over so we could spend time together, but she declined. Later, during a conversation, she told me she could not date someone like me. When I asked why she had kept me thinking there was a chance, she did not respond. I felt she was playing games, so I told her I had never really liked her and had already friend-zoned her after she declined my invitation. She immediately said goodbye and blocked me. I saw her this morning looking sad, and she did not greet me. Did I handle the situation wrongly?
