Apply Now: Fully Funded DAAD 2026 STEM Master’s Scholarships in Germany

Apply Now: Fully Funded DAAD 2026 STEM Master’s Scholarships in Germany

DAAD 2026 STEM Scholarships support outstanding students from developing and emerging countries to pursue a full-time Master’s degree in Germany. Eligible fields include mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and engineering. Applicants must hold a first degree recognized in Germany and must not already have a Master’s by the application deadline. Funding spans 10 to 24 months, depending on your chosen program’s standard duration. Interdisciplinary programs must have a clear STEM focus, and integrated stays outside Germany are not eligible. Scholars receive a monthly stipend of €992, health and liability insurance cover, a €460 annual study allowance and a travel grant upon request. Additional benefits such as rent subsidy, family allowances and carbon offset reimbursements may be available after funding starts. Interested candidates should review the detailed application guidelines on the official German Academic Exchange Service website and submit their applications before the deadline.

I noticed the scholarship requires your degree to be recognized in Germany, but credential evaluation often takes months before application deadlines.

Germany seems ideal for STEM studies, yet some cities have living costs that scholarship stipends might barely cover.
