Brentford moved into sixth place in the Premier League with a 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest at the Gtech Community Stadium. Forest fell behind in the 30th minute when Nikola Milenković turned Dango Ouattara’s cross into his own net. Mathias Jensen also struck the crossbar with a free-kick before the break. Super Eagles defender Ola Aina was substituted at half-time as Forest searched for a response. However, Igor Thiago sealed Brentford’s win in the 76th minute after his effort deflected off Milenković and beat Matz Sels.
