Ogun Police Rescue Abducted Prince of Okun-Owa, Neutralise Two Kidnappers
The Ogun State Police Command says it has safely rescued the Prince of Okun-Owa and neutralised two suspected kidnappers after a swift intelligence-led operation. The royal heir was seized from his home in Odogbolu LGA on June 30. Police tactical teams tracked the gang to the Agoro/Imodi axis, where they engaged the suspects. Officers recovered an AK-47 rifle, an empty magazine, two mobile phones and a suspected ransom bag. The Commissioner of Police commended the bravery and professionalism of the anti-kidnapping unit. He urged residents to remain vigilant and share credible tips with security agencies as manhunts continue for other fleeing gang members.
