Mbappé Scores Twice as Real Madrid End Barcelona’s Unbeaten La Liga Start

Kylian Mbappé scored twice as Real Madrid claimed a dramatic 2-1 El Clásico victory over Barcelona at Camp Nou on Sunday night. Barcelona entered Matchday 10 with nine straight La Liga wins, but Madrid took the lead in the 41st minute when Mbappé benefited from a clearance that deflected off him and into the net. Raphinha equalised for Barcelona in the 61st minute after a neat passing move. However, Mbappé struck again in the 87th minute, converting Eduardo Camavinga’s cut-back to seal the win. The result leaves Real Madrid on 24 points, three behind Barcelona after 10 league matches.
