Native Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa and Pidgin Speakers Needed for Language App Recordings
A mobile app focused on helping people learn Nigerian languages is seeking native Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa and Nigerian Pidgin speakers to record short words and simple dialogues. The recordings can be made with a phone in a quiet room using the app’s in-built tool. The task is expected to take about four to six hours and can be completed over 10 days. Contributors will be recognised as Language Champions in the app while supporting efforts to preserve indigenous languages for future generations. Interested speakers can indicate their interest in the comments.
