Kane Says England Matched Spain Despite 3-2 Nations League Defeat

Kane said England went toe-to-toe with the reigning world and European champions, particularly around half-time, but failed to sustain their performance for the full match. He added that England’s display showed the level the team can reach, while admitting they must become more consistent over 90 minutes. Kane has scored 17 goals in 19 appearances under Thomas Tuchel, but has missed three of his 16 penalties in all competitions in 2026.
