Come Boldly to God in Prayer
Hebrews 4:16 invites us to come boldly to God’s throne of grace for mercy, help, and strength in times of need. Martin Luther prayed with confidence in God’s promises when his co-worker fell ill. John Wesley also prayed calmly during a dangerous storm at sea, trusting God to bring the ship safely through. Bold prayer is not arrogance when it is rooted in faith. In difficult moments, we can approach God with confidence, trusting that He hears us and provides the grace we need.
