Zamfara Opens Health Worker Recruitment, Applications Close 13 August

The Zamfara State Government has opened applications for health professionals to fill roles at Yariman Bakura Specialist Hospital, the Primary Health Care Board and the Hospital Services Management Board. Vacancies include positions for pharmacists, medical laboratory scientists, physiotherapists, optometrists, nurses, midwives and other qualified professionals. Applications opened on 3 August 2026 and close on 13 August 2026 at 11:59pm. Applicants must be Nigerian citizens by birth, aged 18 to 40, medically fit and willing to work in rural areas or anywhere in Zamfara State. Required documents include a valid NIN, birth certificate or declaration of age, LGA indigene certificate, CV, academic credentials and relevant professional licences. Applicants should use only the official state recruitment platform. Multiple applications, false documents, incomplete qualifications and invalid professional licences may lead to disqualification. Applicants should not pay anyone who claims they can influence the selection process.
