On March 12, 2026, in the Starline area of Ogbor Hill, Aba, Mr Ogbonna and his wife began a heated domestic dispute. Their neighbour, Mr Onyema, intervened to restore peace. Ogbonna allegedly lost control and struck Onyema on the neck with a pestle. Onyema was rushed to the hospital but was later pronounced dead. The suspect was arrested by the Azuka Police Division.
