Ifenirepo Igbore Cooperative Marks Golden Jubilee with ₦45.2m Surplus
Ifenirepo Igbore Abeokuta Cooperative celebrated its 50th Annual General Meeting and golden jubilee on March 26, 2026 in Abeokuta, Ogun State. Members, leaders and guests gathered to mark five decades of service and review the society’s performance. The society reported a net surplus of ₦45,209,565 for 2025, up from ₦30 million the previous year. It also disclosed strong financial indicators: share capital of ₦170.7 million, ordinary savings of ₦80.8 million and loans totaling ₦290.9 million. President Elder T. A. Adesegun credited the society’s longevity to divine grace, disciplined leadership and member cooperation. He announced ₦10,000 gifts, commemorative garments and anniversary packages for attendees, stressing that these did not affect dividends. Since its 1976 founding, Ifenirepo Igbore has acquired land and built housing, incubated new cooperatives and earned consistent recognition among Ogun State’s top ten societies. The AGM also featured executive elections and goodwill messages from cooperative officials.
