Edo Police Arrest Man Over Alleged Sexual Assault of 12-Year-Old Apprentice

Edo State Police Command has arrested Orji Okoro over the alleged sexual assault of a 12-year-old male apprentice. Police Commissioner Patrick Daaor said the report was received on August 13. The boy reportedly told his master, who then alerted the police. Okoro was subsequently arrested. The suspect allegedly admitted to the act during an interview, blaming alcohol and the devil. Police said investigations are ongoing and that he will be charged to court when they are concluded.
