Church Members in South Africa Allege Armed Robbery Attack During Service
1 / 8
Our church in Johannesburg, South Africa, says armed men entered during a Sunday service and fired at the branch pastor and another member. According to our account, the congregation prayed and declared their faith as the attack unfolded. We claim that the pastor and the other member survived without life-threatening injuries. We say members and nearby residents pursued the suspects, detained one person and recovered a firearm from nearby bushes. Police reportedly arrived, collected evidence and began an investigation.
