Deji Adeleke: Corps Members and Police, Not INEC Chair, Rig Elections

Billionaire Deji Adeleke says blaming the INEC chair alone for rigged polls misses the real culprits. He pointed out that many youth corps members collect bribes at polling units and alter results. Speaking at a convocation at Adeleke University in Osun State, he noted that no single person can oversee all 3,763 polling units across the state. He also accused some police officers on election duty of aiding malpractice. Adeleke warned that vote manipulation and violence harm Nigeria’s reputation and called on officials and judges to uphold justice. He urged Nigerians to start afresh and demand accountability.
