Lagos Police Arrest Suspect After Ghost & Spirit Lounge Robbery Video Goes Viral
Lagos Police have arrested a suspect linked to an armed robbery outside Ghost & Spirit Lounge on Ekoro Road, Abule Egba, less than 24 hours after the club announced a ₦5 million reward for credible information. CCTV footage from the incident, which occurred around 4:00am on 26 September, showed a man allegedly being targeted by two accomplices before a gunman arrived in a Mercedes-Benz and fired into the area. The victim was reportedly robbed of phones and a gold chain, although the items taken have not been officially confirmed. The lounge said a similar robbery occurred about six months earlier, with customers losing cash and valuables and one person sustaining a gunshot injury. Police investigations are ongoing as efforts continue to identify and arrest other suspects.
