I will never forget rushing home in the evening so I would not miss an episode of my favourite shows. El Cuerpo del Deseo (Second Chance), Mientras Haya Vida (Until My Last Breath) and Nnenna Super Story were top of my list. If there was no electricity, I would go to a neighbour’s house to watch. Android phones were not common then, so people bought full seasons on CDs. Everyone at school and in the neighbourhood had something to say about the latest episode. One day, I almost fought with my mother because she would not allow us to put on the generator during Second Chance. I miss those days of AIT and NTA drama series.
