Falconets head coach Moses Aduku says his side must address key weaknesses despite their 10-1 win over New Caledonia, which secured a place in the U-20 Women’s World Cup round of 16. Nigeria had picked up just one point from their first two group matches after losing 2-0 to Spain and drawing 0-0 with China. The emphatic victory over New Caledonia changed their fortunes and sent them into the knockout stage. Aduku said the team is now focused on correcting its lapses before facing England on Thursday, September 17. England finished second in Group B behind Brazil after drawing with Canada, beating Tanzania and losing to Brazil.
