Times Higher Education Rankings: 29 Nigerian Universities Listed
Times Higher Education ranked 29 Nigerian universities across several global ranking bands. Covenant University, the University of Ibadan and the University of Lagos were the highest-ranked Nigerian institutions, each placed in the 801–1000 band. Ahmadu Bello University, Bayero University, Landmark University and the University of Ilorin followed in the 1001–1200 band. Other listed institutions include Babcock University, UNN, OAU, UNIBEN, UNIPORT, LASU, FUTA, FUTO, FUNAAB and several state universities. Delta State University, Ekiti State University, Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Kwara State University and Michael Okpara University of Agriculture were placed in the 2001+ band. The ranking also named 33 Nigerian institutions as reporter institutions. These schools submitted data but did not meet the eligibility requirements to receive a rank.
