Usor Credits Moses Simon’s Advice for Winning Goal Against Madagascar

Moses Usor says advice from fellow Super Eagles winger Moses Simon gave him the confidence to score Nigeria’s winning goal in the 2-1 victory over Madagascar in the 2027 AFCON qualifiers. The LASK winger came off the bench, collected the ball in Nigeria’s half, beat two defenders and finished superbly to secure all three points. Usor said Simon encouraged him during the warm-up to trust his ability and take on defenders when the opportunity came. The 24-year-old also described his Super Eagles debut as a dream come true, especially with his family in the stands. He pledged to keep working hard and give his best whenever he is selected for Nigeria.
