Open Heavens Devotional for November 5, 2026: Purified for Higher Service

Today’s devotional reflects on Malachi 3:3 and 2 Timothy 2:20–26, teaching that believers must allow God to purify them to become vessels fit for His service. It reminds readers that God accepts people as they are, but calls them to leave sinful attitudes behind and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace. Isaiah’s vision in Isaiah 6:1–8 illustrates how God can purify someone already serving Him for a higher calling. The message encourages believers to surrender to that process and asks: Is there anything you need to purge from your life to become fit for the Master’s service? The devotional closes with a prayer for forgiveness and cleansing. Its Bible reading is John 9–10, and its hymn is “What Can Wash Away My Sin.”
