Why Dialogue, Not Violence, Is Nigeria’s Best Path to Change

I believe lasting change in Nigeria must come through conversation, ideological unity and strategic political action, not violence. History shows that violent confrontations with those in power often cost lives without producing the change ordinary people seek. Nigeria is deeply divided by religion, ethnicity, political interests and class. These divisions make it difficult for citizens to unite behind a common cause. Without shared values, clear goals and lawful organisation, violence can easily become a futile loss of life. I want to build a movement rooted in dialogue, civic education and a shared vision for a better country. We must organise, seek political power through lawful means and hold failed leaders accountable under the law. Every Nigerian has the right to defend themselves from immediate danger. But attacking the country or encouraging violence against the government is not the path to meaningful national progress.
